Nothing?

I think that othing is possible but under a condition, nothing can be nothing if noone recognize it. In the moment when the nothing is recognized as a nothing it starts being something. Let´s start with the fact that nothing is the lack of somehting. When we see a backpack, and we recognize it as so, we are givinf it a signifier and a meaning, and by doing that we make something to something. If we recognize the nothing as a nothig, we give it a signifier and a meaning and then we make nithing to something. Is a little bit confusing, the problem is that the word "nothing" contradicts itself, is says that is the lack of something but that it is something. If i say that the nothing is too the opposite of everything im saying: the nothing is EVERYTHING that is not something, even if that "nothing" is an empty group the group is still something. So I can say that nothing is possible but I can´t find where that nothing is because then it stops being nothing.

I got really confused writing this, but I hope you understood my point. Nothing is an empty group, and an empty group is something unless you don´t recognized it so you dont give it that value.

My art :D

From all arts I rather literature. It gives you the opportunitie of expressing youre own realty by inventing new realities. You create a new world that is a methaphor of the way you see the world. I dont think it´s the best art but it is the one that I like the most. For me words are the best way of expressing, and ussualy they are easier to understad, when you see a painting you could have the feeling that you dont understand it, or that it makes no sense. As I use reasoning a lot I rather things that tell you thing as they are, mixed with the estetic. So at the time of understaning I prefer reading. And what is awsome about writting too is that you may use words that separated from the context mean a totalyy differen thing, so is endless. You can put words toghether in any order and it will mean a different thing or it will mean nothing. I loke it too beacause the only thing you need is a paper and a pencil, the most important things are the words. I like it too because you ca do whatever you like with literature, you can read it upside down, yo can begin with the end, you can stop reading whenever you want. I think too that is one of the most accesible kinds of art, anyone with the righ intention has the oportuniti to do it. So there is nothing I enjoy more that sitting and reading, it doent matter how sad I may be, a good book just take me out and send mi into anothers point of view, like visiting someones head.

Crazy power!

If we see it ver superficialy we can say that yes saniti is power but if we stop and think about it we will find out that is not true. If we think about the most powerful people in the world we see that all of them are not sane. A sane person doesnt look for so many power and the crasy people that has power try to make us believe that being sane is good so everybody is the same. Its important to realize thar are many ways of crazyness and im not refering to ezquisofrenical kind of crazy people, im talking about other desbalances like the necessity of power and money. The mayority is sane, we want to be sane so we are part of the majority, so we are the same and if we are the same as other people we will never get power. Power is not something you get for being a nice person, you bet from stepping in other people and being more smarto,knowing how to control the mass and a person that is able to do all this probably has a big mental desorder. Hitler is one of the persons that had a lot of power, Did he do it being sane? probably not, so for me sanity makes you equal to people so it doesnt help to get power. To get power you need a basical amount of crazyness. To have more power than other people you need to stand out, to be different to but nuts!

Meaning of meaning :S

It soundes very confusing, when we heard the question we were surprised of the fidicylty but only because it sounde weird because it is like finding any dich an sich. The word meaning has two parts, one is the symbol only the letters put togueter and the sound of it. The second part is the meaning of the word meaning and at the end this is the dich an sich. Its like finding any dich an sich, but this time about a word more complex. When we hear meaning the first thing that comes to our mind is the dictionary, but the real meaning of something is our own concept not the dictionary one. The word meaning has a meaning that goes beyond the dictionary, all our memory and all the words that we relate to that. For every person the word meaning is different, because every person relate and aproches to that word in a different way, we learnes the meaning of meaning in differente ways so the dich and sich is all this toguether. The dich an sich of meaning is what meaning means to me. It sound confunsing but only because we are not used to think about things like this, the meaning of meaning it´s not that common. But we shall not get confus only for the way ir sound. If the dictionary can have the meaning of meaning we can find our own. For me the meaning could be everything related to that word that goes beyond the way it sound an the way is written. So let´s think beyony the "significante" and lets star to thing about the "significado".

WHERE IS THE F*CKin Remote!!!

My biggest neurosis is everything to search for lost things. I get anoyed by searching, and wathing other people looking for things. It drives me crazy, when I see someone looking for something, opening all the doors and inside the bed I just wan to scream. Sometimes when I can find something like the remote I just start crying, so Im the worst at searching because I get real desperate so I jus throw things away and kick everything that is in fron of me. i think this neurosis comes from the ability of my father to lose things. I remember that everytime we have to go somewhere wr had to hel him find everything: his walles, the car keys, his glasses; and ussuealy they were at the weirdest place like inside the fridge. When I has younger I used to see my father searching for things so I knew that I had to help and stop doing whatever I was doingo to help, I usde to HATE that, so now if someone looses anything I remember that thing that happened with my dad and it drives me crazy. So please if you see im in front of you and you can´t find something wait until Im in other place before start looking.

$$ CAPITALISM $$

To me perfection is based in an unperfect world. We all know that equal pisibilities adn equal chances are the basis of a perfect society in wich the people will recive benefits if they give benefits. Lets forget how imposible it is to get socialism, if it works it would be the perfect society, that sucks!. Imagine the perfect worls with the perfect society, everybody would be happy and hug heach other and love everybody, it would me so boring that probably the 50 percent of people would kill themself. How awful a society in wich nobody do bad things because they dont need to do that, and mony doesnt matter because youll have what you need, then what would be the porpose in life? We are complaining all time, we have fun insulting people and trying to change the world, and that is the beauty of living. I think that all this is a game in wich you fight to get a perfect life and a perfect world but knowing that we really dont like that, we just like to complain and critizise, adn talk. But this is the way we are happy, with bad people and heros, with no justice, with people who suffers. I would hate to live in a perfect world, or in a perfect society, and I love the way things work right now even if its not fair. That is why I prefer capitalism over socialism.

Psyche Rules!

I think that we are psyche. The body is controlled by the mind. The body only exist to express what is in the psyche, me are alaive and we have bones and a heart and a brain so the psyche is able to express and to interact with other psyches. The body un the humans doesn´t matter that much, over the years we have been thought yo appreciate more the body but at the end when we like someone is ussualy not because he or she has a ice body is because he or she has a psyche that interest us or that atract us. Humans are not bodies, the escences of the humans are the psyches, beyond the body. I think that we are still humans even if we are not in the world, when our psyche is in the world in a body it´s only a state, thw world and the phisichal thing are not the only things that exist. Besides how can we know that the things we see or the things we touch it´s not only a product of the psyche? The matter could be an invention of the psyche, a way to represent what is going in the mind. So at the end we can be sure about the psyche because we are able to think but we can´t be sure of the body because it has limitations so it can be fake but the mind has less limitation so it´s more real.

To many people what makes something yours is a paper that says so, i doesn´t matter who use it, it only matter who bought it or who found it. I think that at the end the paper doesn´t matter, because I can "own" a house but if I don´t live in it it´s not really mine, it belongs to the person that lives in it.
For example technically the chair where I seat everyday at highschool is from the fundation but I am the one who use it and I can say that it´s mine. Something is someone´s property because that person use it, even if tha law says something
different because most of the times tha law doesn´t work according to the reallity.
Of course it doen´n always works that way because tha law don´t let that happen, if I legally own an empty hause and someone want´s to live in it I can say I dont want that and let it be empty forever, but there are other laws that are not official, there are like natural laws that says that somethin is someones property because that person uses it. At the end there´s like no true definition to property, you can never really know who owns what because there are opposite forces that are controling that.

Rationalism Vs Empirucism

If I had to choose between rationalsm or empiricism I would choose rationalism. There are many reasons why I trust my mind over mi body. FIrst of all I believe that my senses are tricked all the time, I see things that aren´t true. When I watch a movie I can feel it´s real, my senses get mi into another world I don´t belong and it´s my mind the one that recognizes that it´s only a movie, that its not true. Besides there are limitations in the senses, for example I know that atoms exist even if Im not able to recognize one, I can´t feel them. My senses can be triccked all the time, they make me belive in things that are not truth, My mind is able to question the thing I Think, if I see a house I am shure that the house is there, if I think in a theory I can test it so I can be shure if the theory is right or wrong. Magic is an example of how weak senses really are, magicians can make us believe that a rabbit can appear inside and emty hat, our mind is the one who tell us that is imposible that a rabbit is inside something empty so me recognize our senses had fail. This is the reasons why I choose rationalism, because I belive is stronger.

Am I Real?

DEscartes to me is the guy who suffered the most horrible existencialist crisis. He actually wondered wether he is real or just a dream. He thought that he could be only part of a dream, that it was possible that he din´t exist. He spend all his life thinking of these, it may seem unimportant to think about thies but that is just because we stopped wondering things, we think that our own existence is normal, so ther is no reason to star making question about this, but this guy did. After a lifetime of thinking about this, he came out with the solution, Cogito Ergo Sum. I think therfor I am, this is a quote we have all heard, but we dint knew why or what does it mean. It says that as im capable to think, I exist, this is the thing that differences me and a pillow. This is why he is called a rationalist, he believes that the way of knowing he exist is not because he can touch and feel stuff but because he can think. The mind is what really matters. We wondered about his existance because he dindt trust his senses, this means he is not an empirist and he is a rationalist.

Omnieverything

In the middle ages there was difficult to say things about God, because what words can be used to describe such a big being. But thuy tried anyway. The kind of words they used were bigo words that could describe hoy big God really is. The words they used are words that referes to the everything. For example omnipresence, this word means that he is EVERYwere, like there are no limits, this word alouds to make God wat superior than us. This words break the boundries we have, we as phisych beings are attatched to certain rules and conditions, God was adrressed like a being with no imits, no rules, no boundries. We can only be in one place at the time, we have limited amount of information, so to make people understand the huge difference between the power of a normal human and God they star talkink about a God that can do absolutly everuthing we can´t. This words like omnipresence or omniscience are reflecting that God is able to do everything, and to be everything. This is the method they use to create an impact on people, to describe this thing that is so superior than us that can do and can be everything. So in conclusion the came out with this words that are the closest thing to refer to God.

"El Niño Predicador"

Well for least he is funny, religion thinks that people have to belive in God only by faith, and science make poeple belive in them with proofs. I think that the religion is trying to have proofs too. Catholics use things like miracles or people who sees the virgin to tell peaople they have proofs too, and they are willing to belive in anything even if is a ten year old kid. Besides is comon to say that kids don´t lie so it´s a perfect chance to make people more shure about their religion.

Probably if I say I just saw a virgin I will become famous, because religion has a part of magic too, so they believe in anything that can support their religion, they don´t care who or how, they only care that they help people believing in God. I think this kid id full of sh*t, it´s almost insulting, he could be saying that the world is square and if it agrees with religion the people will still applaud to him, they don´t question anything they just believe what they are told. I think that in general people have to star to question everything so the things they choose to believe become more autentic.

The 3th

Well Aristotle is the last of the famous three philosophers, all of them influence each other but each one had his own idea too. The theory that i like the most about Aristotle is the one of the Polis, because he said that they were just a tool to get a better life. I don’t agree that woman can’t live at a polis but anyway everything else is awesome. We grow up believing in that we -- something to our country, and militars are supposed to defend and the flag is such a big thing, but what really matters is what the polis can do to us. At the end we are only looking for things that can help us, and polis should only work for that, so we can develop socially and politically. We should listen more to Aristotle in this and we should find a way to make polis as useful as it is possible. Aristotle developed more ideas too, about moral, about soul and now much philosophers focus too in that. Aristotle ideas are at the end the basis of our ideas, and its cool to understand where all those crazy ideas come from.

Is soul a product of body functions?

The eternal fight is science against God; I think this is where this question begins. So I think that because scientist has more proofs I’m going to believe them so the answer is yes, to me, soul is part of body functions. God may say that there is this thing that is bodiless which controls feelings but now it just sounds ridiculous. Scientist have proof that feelings occur in a certain part of the brain, and memory in other part, and thinking in other, all of those are only a biological process that now we are able to understand.
I guess that in some part of time people were desesperate to find answers, and science wasn´t so developed as it is now so probably this idea of soul began as an answer to all those questions that were going on. But now we can choose to believe in facts instead of believing in the things that blindly everyone is trying to make you believe.
I know it sucks to stop believing in all that fantasy that people are saying but this fantasy it’s only the easy way but not the right one, it’s better to believe in stuffs that can be proved. So as science says I choose to believe in what they say, soul is a product of body functions, biological processes.

I want stairs long enough to reach the Hyperuranus

In here I´ll try to explain what Plato said about the world and the ideas. First it´s important that we understand that we live in the Gaia, is where we can see and touch everything but even if we are so sure about the existence of things because we can sense them Plato said that what we really see is a reflection of what the real world is, is like watching only the shadow of what the reall world is. The Gaia is not real because is not true, (may be shadows can think and they believe they are real because they dont know that there is a world out there and they are just a mere reflection, that probably happens to us, we dont know other reality so we thing we are real) but there is a place where there are real thing, lets understand the world like a three steps stair first is the Gaia ( where we live) the second step is the Uranus (the sky) and the third stage is the Hyperuranos where the real thing are. I like that Plato can go so far, it must be very hard to believe that what we live its a lie, that its not beatiful and that there is a bigger thing out there that we can´t see (the ideas world). To say that our world is not real is a very risky idea but if we don´t take risk we will never make something big, he probably was taken as crazy by some people but now that we are not so afraid of his ideas we get closer to understand what he was really trying to say.

In Socrates We Trust

Socrates represent the revolution in a time were everything was perfect, I think that is much easier to fight against a wrong society but Socrate´s society looked almost perfect and still he found problems. He was against of the sophist, they were people who get paid by thinking and teaching. In that era the fight between the public and the private education, this make us understand that ussually the big confrontation start very long time ago and that the big problems last forever. In his time he was very polemic because he had a lot of followers but the sophist hated him because he believed in public education. I like that he showed that it didn´t matter if he was only a student but he still had the chance to argument and to question what the teacher said, it shows that it doesn´t matter the position where you´re talking, what really matters is the things we´re saying. What I like too is that he shared his ideas only by talking, he didn´t wrote anything, sometime we think that the only way to spread wisdom is by writing books but to talk is a good way too that shouldn´t be underrated.

Hug A Tree

We may belive that naturalism is just another hippie idea to stop global warming, but we are very wrong if we think that, there is plety of things we don´t know. First this movemente came out a long time ago when a group of thinkers start asking questions about nature, they belivied that nature whas the most important thing and that we should think what nature really is. With this idea of asking what nature is made of a impressive theory came out, the atomic thoery, its amazing that we all know what an atom is but we dont know were the idea came from. This guy called anaximadros said that nature was made of this really small things, like lego, the small thing create different thing and from that came other question (as always in philosophy) ¿if everything is made of the same thing how can a thing be different from other? and the answer was that the pieces were different depending on what they can form. An atom was said that was undivisible but nowdays we know that they can be divisible but anymay we still thing that everything on earth is made of this small pieces. This travel through time made us undertand were does the word atom and all the theory about it came from.
